Kenneth Huang
Kenneth Huang went to Syracuse University with a Major in Music Industry in 2002. With the Music Industry degree, Kenny felt that he could truly pursue his passion for music. Although he did want a career playing in a band, he thought the best way to start was by learning the technological aspects of the industry. In his four years at Syracuse University, Kenny Huang was involved in a few indie-rock bands as well as some folk bands on campus, as well as off campus with his friends and roommates. They played local bars as well as some local venues. Kenneth also hosted a music radio show on the Syracuse radio station for late-night listeners. He liked this opportunity because it gave him a chance to showcase his music as well as the music he was interested in. Once Kenneth Huang graduated he turned his focus to radio. His felt that his experience hosting his own radio show at Syracuse University made him a prime candidate for a radio station position. He got a job in Chicago on the station 109.8, The Lake. He was working as an assistant to the main host of the radio show. After a few months he was offered his own time slot right after the prime time spot he had been an assistant for. This was huge for Kenneth Huang because it felt like he was back in Syracuse and his own station was now his main focus again. Syracuse University is located in Syracuse, New York.
